One of many exciting projects in progress this week: here, we are working with #LRAument and #greencottageindustries updates to a conceptual site design, for inclusion in an Open Space Master Plan for the Heller Homestead. This study evaluates options for stabilizing the existing stone barn foundation; restoring the historic barn in entirety; installing a new covered pavilion; developing nature trails, creek access, environmental education, and historical interpretation features; and expanding existing parking. Layer upon layer of maps and images help us to understand the comprehensive site grading, structures, and natural features, which will inform how the site may be sensitively developed to provide improved access for community engagement and local tourism. ![]()
