Design and permit documentation for rehabilitation of the ca. 1890 Security Trust Building as a new 4,900 s.f. restaurant, including completely new kitchen, restrooms, custom sushi and liquor bar, seating areas, and second floor office.
Somerset Drive Residence Renovations, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Design and permit documentation for custom interior renovations, including removal of existing walls, new built-in cabinets with bar service, new fireplace with decorative stone surround, decorative mouldings, and coffered ceiling.
Thomas Jefferson Building Condition Assessment, Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. Historic Preservation Consultant to Entech Engineering, Inc. for the condition assessment of exterior windows and masonry and the Neptune Fountain at the ca. 1897 national monument. Project involved review of field survey notes, photographs, and conservation reports for the preparation of a repair recommendation database.
Middle Creek Road Residence, Douglass Township, Pennsylvania. Design and permit documentation for a new 3,000 s.f. residence with master suite, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and open plan living room, dining room and chef’s kitchen using Feng Shui design techniques. Project also includes a future 1,000 s.f. guest house and 5,000 s.f. vehicle and storage garage.
Lady Liberty Salon and Spa Rehabilitation, Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Design and permit documentation for the design of accessibility and code-compliance upgrades to the ground floor of a ca. 1890 commercial building in Pottstown’s historic downtown. The 2,000 s.f. Salon space includes a new accessible entrance and ramp up to the primary floor level; administrative office; makeup, styling, and shampoo stations; custom color bar; tanning room; massage room; accessible restroom; laundry room; employee break room; and storage.
Old Orchard Drive Residence Addition, Upper Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania. Design and permit documentation for interior renovations and 2,900 s.f. addition to an existing 1,200 s.f. ranch home, to provide a front porch, new entry, enlarged living room, enlarged kitchen with open dining area, new mudroom and laundry. Expansion of living space to new second floor to include master suite with sitting and dressing rooms, 3 bedrooms, and 1 additional bath.
Salem Belleman’s Union Church Restoration, Mohrsville, Pennsylvania. Principal Architect to Thomas L. Zeigler, PE, for reconstruction of a 54-foot-high brick and cast stone bell tower previously rendered unusable due to masonry deterioration. Project included matching existing materials and detailing of the 1922 tower, and refurbishing the historic 1,600 lb. bell.
Rabbit Run Residence Restoration, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Design and permit documentation for a new sunroom for a Tudor-style home that suffered severe fire damage. The new sunroom design replicated existing materials and details to the greatest extent possible to allow for seamless integration with the original home where damaged features were restored.
Upper Merion Area School District Security Improvements, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Design and permit documentation for new accessible security vestibules in two existing elementary schools, with detailing carefully coordinated to match existing custom wood and glass partitions.
